The strategic bomber and reconnaissance aircraft Mirage IV, was developed during the 1950s and entered service in 1964. Designed as a strategic bomber, it started to fly reconnaissance missions in 1971 thanks to the addition of the CT-52 pod which was mounted under the fuselage. 18 Mirage IVA were later modified to fire the ASMP missile and were designated Mirage IVP. During its entire career, the Mirage IV was equipped with 2 ATARK engine. Intended for Heller's 1/48 kit, this set will replace plastic parts for a more realistic rendering. Not only nozzles are fully detailed but, combustion chambers with its specific 3-ring-post combustion system is also provided.
