The Martin Baker Mk.4 ejection seat was one of the most used seat on military aircraft. The Super Etendard was fitted with the CM.4A version. Starting in July 1991, the French Navy replaced them with CM.6 seats which had a zero-zero ejection capability. This seat can be easily identified with its twin-ring upper ejection handle while the CM.4A seat had a single-ring one. This item is a scaled down replica of the CM.4A seat. Extensive research made it possible to accurately replicate all characteristic details. These parts will advantageously replace plastic kit parts and make your cockpit much more realistic.

The Martin Baker Mk.4 ejection seat was one of the most used seat on military aircraft. This generic designation includes many subversions created to adapt to the specifications and technical limitation of each aircraft in which it was mounted. The Super Etendard was fitted with the CM.4A version.  This version differed from that used in the Etendard IV with a rigid parachute container, a new survival kit on top of which a leather cushion was fitted and simplified stabilising parachute container. The system to adjust the seat pan height was also manual. Starting in 1991, the French Navy replaced them with CM.6 seats which had a zero-zero ejection capability. This seat can be easily identified with its twin-ring upper ejection handle while the CM.4A seat had a single-ring one. This item is a scaled down replica of the CM.4A seat. Extensive research made it possible to accurately replicate all characteristic details like the French Air Force 5-point harness or the specific oxygen regulator. These parts will advantageously replace plastic kit parts and make your cockpit much more realistic. It just needs painting for a convincing look. Some adjustment may be necessary to fit cockpit properly.
