F-4 Phantom II - Mk.H7 Ejection Seat US Navy (2Pcs) - 1/32
During its operational history, the Phantom II has been fitted with 2 types of ejection seat. Between 1967 and 1968, the early Mk.H5 seats were replaced by Mk.H7 seats, which had the "Zero-Zero" ejection capability. Also, the soft parachute container located in an aluminum case of the H5 was replaced by a rigid-type container. This item is a scaled down replica of the Mk.H7 seats mounted on the F-4B/J/N/S and RF-4B of the US Navy and the USMC. This subtype differs from the USAF type with its emergency oxygen system fitted into the survival kit, the shape of the survival kit, the shoulder harness reel harness buckles. Extensive research allowed us to accurately replicate all characteristic details of this seat.

With over 5000 examples built, the F-4 Phantom II is an important aircraft in aviation history. During its over 60-years carrier, it took extensive part into several conflicts, including the Vietnam War, the Gulf War and the Yom Kippur War and was the backbone of air forces of 12 nations around the world. Since it entered service in 1960, it was equipped with 2 types of ejection seats. Between 1967 and 1967, the early Mk.H5 seats were replaced with Mk.H7 seat, which had the "Zero-Zero" ejection capability thanks to the addition of a rocket pack under the seat pan. Also, the soft parachute container located in an aluminum case of the H5 was replaced by a rigid-type container. In addition, there were many subtypes of these seats as some users replaced some of the equipments to match their requirements. This Item represents the H7 seats used in US Navy and USMC F-4B/J/N/S and RF-4B after 1967. This subtype differs from the USAF type with its emergency oxygen system fitted into the survival kit, the shape of the survival kit, the shoulder harness reel harness buckles. Extensive research based on the dimensions and pictures of an actual seat and technical doucumentation allowed us to accurately replicate all characteristic details. These parts will advantageously replace plastic kit parts. It just need painting for a convincing look. As these parts have not been designed for a specific kit, some adjustment may be necessary to fit properly.
