The Mirage IV was France strategic bomber between 1964 and 1996. From 1971, it was used as a reconnaissance aircraft in addition to its strategic missions. During its operational career, the Mirage IV has been deployed to Tchad, Bosnia and Afghanistan. Its last significant mission was reconnaissance flight over Iraq in 2003 for the UN before it was retired in 2005. 

This item is a scale down reproduction of the wheels mounted on the Mirage IVA and IVP. The smallest details like brake system concave shape of the rim have been rendered. This set includes 8 wheels for main landing gear and 2 for nose landing gear.

The Mirage IV was France strategic bomber between 1964 and 1996. From 1971, it was used as a reconnaissance aircraft in addition to its strategic missions thanks to the introduction of the CT-52 pod. Among the 62 exemples built, 18 Mirage IVA were upgraded in order to use the ASMP nuclear missile between 1981 and 1986 being redesignated Mirage IVP. With the Mirage 2000N entering service in 1988, the strategic role of the Mirage IV was gradualy transfered and stopped in 1996. Powered by two Atar 9K engines, it had a top speed of Mach 2.2 and a service ceiling of 18000m. During its operational career, the Mirage IV has been deployed to many theaters like Tchad, Bosnia and Afghanistan. Its last significant mission was reconnaissance flight over Iraq in 2003 for the UN before it was retired in 2005. 

This item is a scale down reproduction of the wheels mounted on the Mirage IVA and IVP. The smallest details like brake system concave shape of the rim have been rendered. The wheel center details and inflating valve has also been precisely rendered. This set includes 8 wheels for main landing gear and 2 nose wheels Tires are realisticaly flatened the replicate the effect of the weight of the aircraft while on the ground. Even if we recommand some specific kit to use these sets, some adjustment may be necessary to fit properly.
